-ABOUT-
Project Outer Base is a top down 2D adventure game with a story line takes place in the future life, humanity is moving onto another planet - Oatis, a non-solar system planet after the Earth's destruction. Oatis is a planet of life - trees, rocks, and every human-needed resources are all there on this planet as well as the Oatisian!
It will be a start over, you will need to adapt to the new life, an Oastis's life, farming and build, make your own businesses - provide enrichments to your new people, level up the technology, explore more areas, meet, and make relationships with the people on the planet, they will help you a lot on your way of renovating your new planet!

This is a small demo showing some of the basic mechanics and features of the game up to the current date development using Unity Game Engine:
UI SYSTEMS:
Game Time/Date Interfaces: Displays current game time/date, season, year.
Inventory Bar Interface: Displays and allows player to have quick access to the items in inventory, flexible positioning based on player's position to expand view implemented.
Item Description Interface: Displays item's name, type, and it's descriptions.
Pause Menu Interfaces: Displays an inventory tab with all of the player's current inventory, Save/Load/Quit menu to let player save, load, or quit the game.
MECHANICS:
Farming: Player can chop down trees, break stones, plant the plants with seeds, dig and water the ground.
Scene transition: Player can walk to different areas without having lost or respawning items.
Save/Load/Quit Systems: Player is able to save/load/quit the game, loading the game back using the saved data.
Objects/Items Interactions: Player can pick up/drop off items as well as breaking the objects to pick them up. Trees will fade away when standing behind, or bushes will "wiggle" when touching!
NPCs System: NPCs (currently only 1 NPC is implemented) will move around with a schedule. They will be staying at their house at the beginning.
Furnitures Placing/Decorating: Player can use furniture to place/decorate the places (currently only available at player's home, not anywhere else), and break to pick them and replace.
-NOTES-
This is a demo, the game sometimes still occurs logic bugs, however, most of the updated features should be in a good shape! I hope you all will like the demo, I will keep updated!
HOW TO PLAY:
The game will start with a game scene - W, A, S, D to move, left mouse click to perform actions, ESC key to open the pause menu, space to perform interactions, T key to advance time, and G to advance day (or sleep on bed).
